Hello, Everyone! You’re going to love what Lacey has to share with us today. Just wait until you see what she’s created! It’s amazing! Continue reading and prepare to be inspired by the technique she shares with us. Enjoy!

Hi Y’all, Lacey here to share a little something new! Today I am making my own background paper using mixed media and stamps from Scraps and Inks Crafts

Sampling of Scraps and Ink Crafts Cling Mount Stamp Sets

I used some Distress Oxides and the “kissing” technique to create a rainbow of color on my cardstock background paper.

Then I used 3 of the new stamp sets and went to town! I used archival ink so that it would be crisp with the mixed media background.

After my background was dry I began to build my layout. I used the Magic Balloon cutting die, also from Scraps and Inks Crafts, and cut it from matching rainbow paper! I popped them up on foam to add more dimension.

I used a coordinating paper to punch out some Mickey heads and popped them up as well.

Finishing off my layout with the title built out of stickers and some machine stitching made it complete!
