I’m glad you’ve joined us on this fabulous winter Tuesday. Read on to discover the ‘Technique’ Heather used on her “Frozen Dreams” scrapbook page.
For my layout today, I wanted to scrapbook photos from when we took my little guy to meet Anna and Elsa…but he was so tired he fell asleep in line…and then slept through the entire experience! I am actually planning a 2 page layout with more of the pictures from the overall meet and greet but wanted to do a simple page just highlighting a couple of the close up pictures with Anna and Elsa.

My title “Frozen Dreams” is actually a combination of Thickers and two metal cutting dies from Scraps & Ink Crafts. I used Dream, of course, and then the ‘s’ from Fantasy.

I used bits of the glittery washi from both the Frozen collection and Rapunzel to make the garland across the top left hand side of the page. I cut strips of the washi and folded them over a little dark pink and white bakers twine…super simple but cute. Then I added some of the Tropical Facets to finish it off.

To complete my page I added a few of the super cute acrylic embellishments from the Winter Blues and Garden Party printed acrylic collections along with a few sequins and rhinestones from my stash for a little more sparkle.

It was fun using the washi and cutting dies in a bit of a different way.
If you have used any of your supplies in a “new” way, I would love for you to share it on our Facebook page or tag us on Instagram. Maybe it will help inspire someone else.
Thanks, Heather! From all of us here at DCC, have a magical day!
