Hey everyone, I’m Niki and I am a paper addict! I’m 38 years old (how did that happen?) and I live in the UK with my husband and three kids: Sophie aged 9, Max aged 7, and Theo aged 2. I’m a Stay-at-Home Mum but during the days while the kids are at school, I run Go Go Getaway, which is a UK scrapbooking retreat company. We organize successful scrapbooking retreats and workshops where I, along with other members of the team, teach people how to make beautiful scrapbook layouts. I’m also on multiple scrapbooking design teams such as Hip Kit Club, Shimmerz Paints, Bramble Fox, Lottie Loves Paper and Scrap Academy. I love to create and being a member of such wonderful teams stretches my creativity to the next level. I love coffee and shortbread biscuits, and chocolate. I love going out to make memories with my kids and then preserving those memories within my scrapbooks. It’s lovely to meet you xxx

DISNEY Q&A:

What is your favorite Disney movie and why?

Mulan because she has such dedication and determination, she’s a fantastic role model.

Who is your favorite Disney character and why?

This changes regularly! Right now, our family are watching the throwbacks: The Rescuers was my favourite Disney movie as a child, and we have enjoyed watching it recently as well as The Sword in the Stone and Robin Hood. We also love Frozen, Mulan and all the Toy Stories.

When was the last time you were at a Disney Park?

December 2019.

What is your favorite ride/attraction at any Disney Park and why?

Always the character Meet & Greets, it is so exciting to meet the characters.

Do you have a favorite restaurant or quick service location at a Disney Park?

Cinderella’s Royal Table because there are princesses!

Are you a fan of the Disney Princesses? If so, which one and why?

Of course. We love Elsa and Anna, although officially they are not princesses. Rapunzel is awesome and we love Jasmine too because she knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to go for it.

Do you have any Disney collections? If so, what do you collect?

We collect Disney Ornaments for Christmas and we seem to have a lot of Disney toys, although they are not from one collection.

Do you decorate with Disney during the holidays?

We have a dedicated Disney Christmas tree which holds all our Disney ornaments.

How often do you go to a Disney Park?

Usually once a year at Christmas time.

Rope drop or not?

Of course! Although we’ve never been right at the front.

Do you have a favorite night-time show?

Main Street Electrical Parade which we last saw in 2015.

Do you have a tradition when you are at a Disney Park (the “must-do” list)?

My husband and son are all about the rides, whilst my daughter and I are all about meeting characters, so we plan our days to maximize as many of those as possible. We ALWAYS have to watch the parades and we love dancing in the Move It! Shake It! Street Dance Party.

What is your favorite land and why?

Fantasyland because there are soooo many amazing things there: It’s a Small World, Dumbo, The Journey of the Little Mermaid, the Castle and Fairy-tale Hall!

Do you hunt for hidden Mickey’s?

We are always on the look-out and there is much excitement whenever one is spotted!

Do you have a favorite time of year to go to a Disney Park?

Christmas because everything is EXTRA magical at that time.

How old were you the first time you went to a Disney Park and what is your first memory?

I was about 7 years old and the thing that stands out in my mind from that trip was being able to see Mickey Mouse’s House.

What’s your favorite traditional Disney treat?

Churros because they are soooooooo good! On our last trip to Animal Kingdom, we had something new too: Scrooge McDuck’s Billionaire Bacon Caramel Sundae which was AMAZING!

Have you ever made a copy-cat Disney food item at home?

Mickey Pancakes.

Do you have any pets named after a Disney character?

We don’t have any pets but do have lots of soft Disney plush toys that get treated as pets by my children!

What is your ideal Disney Park day?

A sunny day in the most magical place on earth seeking out characters. There is nothing better!
