Good evening from DCC!

Tonight we have an absolutely adorable page from Design Team Member, Heather, featuring an Easter theme for Sketchy Sunday!

“Spring Favorites” by Heather Ribble

Heather said, “I used the June Incredi-Sketch. I definitely took some liberties with this one but I wanted to make it work with my 2 4×6 photos.”

It definitely works! Heather easily transformed the sketch area containing three photos into an area for two photos. I am also loving Heather’s use of patterned papers. She has an excellent eye for contrast and effortlessly uses a fun mix of patterns without making her page appear too busy.

Since I simply adore all things Spring (who doesn’t?), Heather’s page truly makes me happy and hits all the right spots! Fresh spring colors? Check! Clusters of spring-y layered embellies? Check! Adorable Mr. & Mrs. Easter Bunny and even more adorable kids? Check and check!

Heather said- “I have had these pictures forever but wasn’t sure how to scrap them until I saw the Disney Easter Acrylics!”

She’s referring to, of course, the brand new Printed Acrylics from Scraps & Ink Crafts!

They come in a set of four just perfect for a variety of projects!

Heather also added a touch of whimsy by layering another printed acrylic piece with a sweet green gingham padded applique, paper flowers and a yellow circle cut with the Mouse Circles cutting die.

But what is a Disney page without a bit of sparkle (i.e.- Pixie Dust)? It’s certainly NOT a Disney page! So Heather did what any true Disney scrapper would do and added a bit of pixie dust by way of sparkly green washi tape across the top and bottom of her page for a magical finishing touch!

What is your favorite part of Heather’s page? Do you like her interpretation of the sketch?

We’d love to hear your thoughts! Be sure to let us know and tag us on Facebook and Instagram!

From all of us here at DCC, have a magical day!
