Hey Everyone, I’m so glad I get to introduce Heather‘s “Epcot” scrapbook page! Read on to see Heather’s process. Enjoy!

I don’t know about you, but I almost never start a layout without looking through my Pinterest board of sketch inspiration. Don’t get me wrong, there are occasions when I have pictures and I know exactly what I want to do with them, but in most cases, I need a little place to start from. I absolutely love working off of a sketch. Sometimes my layout ends up looking nothing like the original sketch since it can be so much fun to tweak things and make them work with your photos and supplies.

I used DCC Sketch#109 as my starting point. I tend to scrap with more 4×6 photos than anything else so I had to change things up a bit right from the start but I really like how things came together after that.

EPCOT by Heather Ribble

I knew I wanted to use the Epcot Cutting Die and the Spaceship Earth one as well with my photos.

I love the colors from the Frosted Acrylic Mouse Rose Gold Paper Clips and they worked well with my patterned paper so in order to make them work on my page, I just popped the clip part off and made a few little clusters around my page.

The Epcot washi was a perfect final touch.

Thanks, Heather! Alright everyone, click on over to the Sketches and choose which one you’ll use on your next project.
