How many selfies do you take? I might take a few here and there. I definitely took some on my trip to Disneyland. You’ll probably see some today on Instagram because our sister site, Scraps and Ink Crafts, has issued a Selfie Challenge. Yes, that’s right! We’ve been challenged to share Disney-inspired selfies using #SandICSelfies and post them to Instagram and Facebook. Well, challenge accepted! And now, we’re challenging you! I have one or two of my own in mind but I want to see all of yours!

To help you out I’m spotlighting the ‘Mouse Selfie’ metal cutting die from Scraps and Ink Crafts. This will also be tagged on #SandICSelfies. Look for it! This die cut measures 3” x 3” so it’s really easy to add it to a scrapbook layout, journal page, tag, junk journal, card, etc. I’m thinking I might use it to make an accordion book to slip into my journal. What do you think?

‘Mouse Selfie’ metal cutting die

Actually, it’s this die cut that inspired Scraps and Ink Crafts to issue the Selfie Challenge. If Mickey can share his selfie then you and I can too! What selfies are you thinking of sharing? How many are you going to share? Two? Five? Ten? I’ve already scrolled through my Disneyland trip and tagged the ones I’m going to use. Watch for them later today.

Usually, I have multiple images and a finished paper project to show you in the Product Spotlight. Today, I’m only sharing two photos. I want you to make a project using the ‘Mouse Selfie’ metal cutting die and post it in the DCC Gallery.

It’s a fun place to share with other scrapbookers and designers.

Well, I hope to see your Disney-inspired selfies at #SandICSelfies. Mickey’s and mine will be there!

Don’t forget to share your projects with us in the Gallery and on Facebook and Instagram.

From all of us here at DCC, Have a Magical Day!
