I think my Star Wars friends will appreciate this page! I wanted to convey the fact that the AT-AT in Hollywood Studios is really BIG, so I designed this cut file to fill the entire page and work as my background. It cut without any issues, but I would imagine that if I were to try to cut it much smaller, my cutting machine would struggle and end up tearing my paper. So, when designing it, I knew I had to “go big or go home”!
I used thin strips of red patterned paper to mimic blaster beams. I also added red behind the title piece and a red strip along the right edge to add color to my otherwise monochromatic page of just blue and black.
The photos are tucked under and in-between the “legs” of the silhouette cut to further convey the size of the AT-AT.
I really enjoyed creating this page for a galaxy not-so-far away! The next time you’re looking for a unique background for a scrapbook page or project, try giving a bigger silhouette cut a try!
