This is a fun and easy sketch to complete during this crazy holiday season that was designed just for you!
You can twist it, turn it or use it as a starting point for your own scrapbook page.
We want you to have some fun with this, so feel free to adapt the sketch to work with your own photos and supplies. We can’t wait to see what everyone shares in the gallery!
I decided to make a simple page using this sketch because I am trying to complete an album for one of my many trips to Disneyland and California Adventure with my family!
I loved running into the characters that my kids were watching on the Disney channel at that time. Love Doc McStuffins!
I used a fun mouse head padded applique on the upper left of my page because it matched perfectly. You can find the applique in our sister Etsy shop- Scraps & Ink Crafts. It comes in a set of six different colors and materials so you really get a variety in each of the ten different sets!
“Ohana Double Date” by Natalie Strand
Design Team Member Natalie turned the sketch on its side to create her page about a special Birthday dinner.
By die cutting her cupcake element from plain white cardstock, Natalie was able to create a subtle page accent that does not distract from her multi-photo layout.
The cupcake cutting die is also from our sister Etsy shop.
We LOVE this embellishment cluster of tags tied off with gold thread for a bit of sparkle. And if I’m not mistaken, I believe I spy a hidden Mickey peeking out from behind the word “HAPPY”!
Natalie also used a bit of washi with a foil finish tucked below her paper strips for another subtle bit of shine that does not overwhelm her photos.
“K-CHOW!” by Michelle Sinclair
Check out Michelle’s wonderful page that she created using the sketch!
Lightning McQueen lifts up to reveal the perfect spot for journaling. How clever is that?!
We just love the details Michelle puts into her pages! So many fun little layers to her cleverly-designed accents. Each time I look at Michelle’s page, I find a little detail or embellishment I missed the first go round.
So are you ready to give this sketch a go?
We’d love to see what you create, so have fun and share with us in our gallery!
