Once again, our fabulous Design Team Member, Vicki Von Richter, has provided us with an amazing cut file to use! This time with a Star Wars theme and we are definitely feeling the force! We are so grateful for Vicki creating these for us to use and we look forward to it every single month.

Let’s take a look at what the team did using this awesome design, starting with a fun page by Vicki herself.

“Jedi in Training” by Vicki Von Richter

By the look on this young Padawan’s face, I know there is some serious concentration going on to defend the galaxy from the dark side!

Vicki’s use of sparkly facets by Scraps & Ink Crafts gives the page just a hint of glimmer to contrast against her wooded embellishments.

“Jedi in Training” by Natalie Strand

Natalie’s vertical row of photos captures an epic lightsaber duel that took place right in her very own living room!

Did you know that Natalie often scraps in this smaller 8″x8″ size? Although this is a smaller canvas than the standard 12″x12″, Natalie still manages to use 4 photos effortlessly. Bigger doesn’t always mean better!

We are loving the Star Wars washi tape layered both behind and in front of her journaling! The silvery stars were created with a punch and washi adhered to cardstock. Foam mounting dots underneath the stars make them appear to “float” above the page.

Placing her photos in a vertical row gives us a “film strip” vibe, which is carried even further with the black film strip die cut peeking out from behind the photos. Natalie finished off the page with more silver washi stars.

Thanks again to Vicki for creating this stellar cut file. 🙂

Have a magical day….and may the Force be with you!
