For a subtle bit of Disney magic, this small natural rope wreath is a perfect addition to your home décor.
The base of the wreath is made from flexible foam dowels. They are sold in packs of five at most fabric stores, but you will only need two.

Flexible foam dowels are typically used for making cosplay costumes, but they can be used for a wide variety of other crafts and projects!

These foam dowels can be cut using a standard pair of scissors.

Cut dowels into one 15.5” length, and two 8 ¾” lengths.

Using hot glue, attach the ends of each length of foam together and hold in place until secure.

Repeat for all three dowels to create the base for the head and ears of your wreath.

To keep rope from fraying as you wrap, secure ends with a small amount of hot glue.

Wrap each foam dowel with lengths of rope until covered and secure ends with hot glue.

Leave a small gap between the rope at the base of each small rope circle.

Add a pea-sized amount of hot glue to the gap in the rope.

Firmly press each smaller piece to the large piece and hold until secure.

Wrap short lengths of rope around the glued area to cover. Secure to the back of the wreath with hot glue.

Embellish the wreath with faux greenery sprigs and flowers. Secure with hot glue.

Finish the wreath by adding ribbons or other embellishments.

Secure a small loop of twine onto the back of the wreath for hanging. Finished size of wreath is 9.5” x 9”.
