DIY Disney ornaments!
This is for the November Tip-Top Techniques Challenge. You can read more about it on the blog here. These were made from McD’s Happy Meal Toys that came out in 2002. I hacked off their bases and added little bits, baubles and doo-dads from the craft store to make them more “festive” and used screw eyes on the top to add ribbon for hanging. Very time-consuming, but cheap Disney ornaments when we couldn’t afford to buy the expensive ones in the parks. There were 100 different characters released and it took me several years to track down each one thru garage sales, second-hand stores and eBay. I eventually made two complete sets- one for each of my daughters for when they finally have their own Christmas trees. These are just a few of my favorites
