oooh that would be fun! I love to Disney-bound!
I have a (very) old version of Photoshop Elements, which is less involved than full Photoshop. I have learned as I go by starting with a free mini-class (long enough ago that it’s no longer available, sorry! 🙁 But here’s another digi scrapper with some tutorials:https://vimeo.com/shannanpages) and by doing searches on YouTube and the whole internet when I want to do a technique but don’t know how.
Another option for planning pages (but not creating final versions) would be Silhouette Studio. It’s free software, and you don’t have to have a Silhouette machine to use it for designing. I have found it to be fairly intuitive!

in reply to: Disney hints and tips #25370Michelle, when we were in Epcot last Christmas season, Karamell-Küche (Germany pavillion) had some amazing treats [Werther’s Caramel Butter Bar, Gingerbread Salted Caramel Buttercream Cookie Sandwich]. Our absolute favorite was the Gingerbread Salted Caramel Buttercream Cookie Sandwich, which I think may be a seasonal treat!
in reply to: “Storage Ideas” – How do you store your supplies? Think everything from stamp ink to fat quarters and all the doodads and thing-a-ma-jigs needed to make what we make. Do you throw it all in one big bin or are they neatly labeled and stored alphabetically? We’re guessing it’s somewhere in between! #25369Vicki– yes, please share a pic of your makeup-case-turned-ink-holder!!
My husband prototyped an ink organizer insert for one of my storage cubes (they are the “legs” of my craft studio island/table). It’s just made of scrap corrugated cardstock, and it’s been working well. Now to find the time to make it out of “prettier” materials!in reply to: “Storage Ideas” – How do you store your supplies? Right now, I’m keeping them in the little plastic bags in which they come, but that’s not going to work for too much longer 😉

A while ago, I bagged up my ribbon pieces by color family– those little bags still live in that basket! — and it has really helped me to find what I need quickly!

I must admit– I can’t bring myself to let go of my brads and paper flowers!
in reply to: Disney Question of the Day #23314When we went last November, we stopped in Karamell-Küche in the Germany pavilion to get some treats — most notably the Gingerbread Salted Caramel Buttercream Cookie Sandwich, which I think is seasonal. Oh my goodness gracious, I think quite possibly it was the best dessert I had on our trip!
