Are you ready for a new month of challenges? We’d just LOVE for you to join us!
Our first challenge for our month of LOVE is our “Colors of Magic” Challenge inspired by Disney’s most iconic couples! Kristin did a beautiful job starting with classic Disney colors of black red and yellow and then added a pop of bubblegum pink and sky blue. LOVE this!
Disney Creative Co. February “Colors of Magic” Challenge:
Let’s take a look at how our talented Design Team used this palette in their own creations.
“Grateful Heart Card” by Natalie Strand:
We may be partial to products by our sister ETSY site- Scraps & Ink Crafts, but can you blame us when there are so many cute cutting dies to choose from?! Natalie used two! The Glove Hands Cutting Die happens to be part of this month’s giveaway!

We love the blue peeking out from behind the Mickey background die cut!
Those colorful bits of red and pink are quite eye-catching, aren’t they? Using the Glove Hands Cutting Die to cut out her outline from black cardstock creates a strong contrast against the blue and white background and makes the entire piece really pop!
“Mickey Love” by Michelle Sinclair:
Party Time! We are in LOVE with the celebratory vibe of Michelle’s page as she parties with the World’s most beloved mouse!

I see some sparkly padded appliques from Scraps & Ink Crafts! Swoon!
“Incredible Couple” by Emily Adams:
Emily’s page is so sweet and dare we say “Incredible”! #CoupleGoals right there. 🙂
“Incredible Couple” by Emily Adams- detail 1:
Emily used an adorable Mouse Cupcake Paperclip. In fact, these paperclips are part of this month’s giveaway!
Emily also used two shimmery red padded appliques from Scraps & Ink for a pop of sparkle and shine! And she and her hubs totally win our vote for most “Incredible Couple”!
“True Love!” by Jackie Ashton:
Jackie chose to create her page about the very first Disney princess an her handsome Prince Charming. They have been together since 1938. That’s 84 years, folks! True love indeed!
Like Natalie, Jackie used the Glove Hands Cutting Die to create the silhouette image at the top of her page.
Jackie also used a deep red sequin padded applique from Scraps & Ink Crafts for a bit of dimension and sparkle.
“True Love” by Jackie Ashton close-up 1:
Jackie did an amazing job layering all of her bits and baubles!
“That Mouse” by Heather Ribble:
Heather created this fabulous two-page layout and we just adore it! Two page layouts are always the best go-to for getting lots of photos scrapped.
“That Mouse” by Heather Ribble- left side:
Heather got these simply perfect shots with Mickey himself!
“That Mouse” by Heather Ribble- right side:
The use of the heartbeat die cut from Scraps & Ink Crafts running along the bottom of BOTH pages tie the left and right sides together brilliantly!
“That Mouse” by Heather Ribble- close-up:
Cutting the heartbeat out of black was the perfect solution to make it really stand out from the red pattern in the background.
“Disney Smile” by Vicki Von Richter:
Cutest Disney smile ever goes to Vicki’s adorable little girl! That is the face of pure joy! The Disney characters with the pink hearts make our own hearts flutter!
Now it’s your turn to play along for your chance to win authentic Disney merchandise.
