As the founder of DCC, I love to see the friendships created through not only a shared love for Disney, but through the scrapbooking community as well. So it made me smile to hear that Design Team Members Jackie and Heather were going to meet up for the first time in Walt Disney World this past summer. Jackie did an excellent job creating a scrapbook page to commemorate the event!
“EPCOT” by Jackie Ashton
Love those smiles, ladies!
Jackie used the EPCOT Logo cut file from our library for her stand-out title. Although she chose to cut the image quite large, doing so from white cardstock keeps it from overwhelming her photo.
Jackie used the Viewfinder Metal Cutting Die from Scraps & Ink Crafts for a fun accent peeking out from behind her photo. The white die cut helps balance the large white title piece. She also added dimension and bits of shine around her photo with sparkly mouse head Facets.
Jackie finished off her page with whimsical green and yellow mouse balloon Acrylic Embellishments. At only 2mm thick, these lightweight but sturdy embellishments are a fun way to add a little dimension to your pages and projects without adding any bulk.
Love that EPCOT cut file but don’t have an e-cutter? No problem! Our sister site, Scraps & Ink Crafts carries a metal cutting die of the same image in a slightly smaller size and was featured in yesterday’s blog post.
We’d just love to see what you create with this cut file OR cutting die so tag us on Instagram and/or Facebook and share your own magical creations with us!
From all of us here at DCC, have a magical day!
