Heather is here with us and we are simply batty for her spook-tacular take on our brand new “Colors of Magic” color palette! Let’s see what Heather says about her frightfully-fun layout:
Happy October!
It is October 1st and officially Halloween Time in my book…although to be honest, I started decorating about 2 weeks ago!
I love Halloween so of course I opted for a Halloween theme color palette. I love Halloween movies, but not the really gory or scary ones so Hocus Pocus is always top of my list to watch each year. I am a sucker for the absolute cheesiness of it and Sarah Sanderson is my favorite. My husband is not really one for dressing up so I was over the moon when he was willing to go a little Hocus Pocus with me a couple of years ago.
“Hocus to my Pocus”
Color Palette #114 just screams Hocus Pocus, don’t you think?
I was super stoked when I saw the Hocus Pocus Acrylic pieces from Scraps and Ink Crafts and knew right away I had to use them.
That little black flame candle is too cute!
I added a bit of the houndstooth Washi from the Haunted Mansion Inspired Washi Tape set as well as a couple of the purple Mickey Facets. I think I could use those Facets on just about everything!
The Mickey Bats Cutting Die was that last perfect little bit of Disney Halloween magic I wanted.
My husband really is “The Hocus to my Pocus” so hopefully he likes the layout as much as I do! LOL!
How about you? Is Halloween your thing or do you just skip right to Christmas? I would love to see your take using the same Color Palette.”
