Today’s inspiring and colorful post is brought to you by the talented Emily Adams. Her page is sooooo fun and colorful, so let’s see what she has to say about it:
“I think a lot of us would agree that the Haunted Mansion is one of the best rides at Disney! It’s always been one of my favorites, and this color palette reminded me of some pictures we took on the ride during our most recent trip to Walt Disney World.
We were thrilled when we walked up to the Haunted Mansion and the posted wait time was 13 minutes–that means NO WAIT! We took a silly scared picture this time, but sometimes we keep our sunglasses on and go for a stoic look. Playful spooks stopped our Doom Buggy twice, and we took advantage of the opportunity and took some Night Mode pictures with our phones. I’d kind of love to see the ride with the lights off (but would I, if it ruined the magic?!
“Not So Scary” by Emily Adams
I used 3 photos and a journaling card with 3 spots on it to document my thoughts. Of course, I found a few fun products from Scraps and Ink Crafts to embellish my layout and love the way it turned out.
Seriously, how cute is this Ghost Mouse metal die? I love the contrast of the pink against the sparkly purple washi from the Haunted Mansion set.
I could add padded appliques to almost every layout (they’re just the perfect size, and there’s so many color options!). I love the purple wallpaper balloon printed acrylic from the Madame Leota set.
This green diamond Mickey adds a little more sparkle to my page.
What kind of silly pictures do you take at the Haunted Mansion? Do you act scared, act serious, or do you forget where the camera is? Haha!
I hope you’ve been inspired to use this color palette. Be sure to tag us on Instagram and Facebook when you show off your creation!”
Thanks so much Emily! We are always inspired by your amazing creations!!!
From all of us here at DCC, have a magical day!
