Another fri-YAY and another great challenge! This week is the popular “Incredi-Sketch” Challenge!

Whether you use it as-is, adapt it to fit an 8.5×11 page or a smaller 8×8 format (think coffee table brag book) use this sketch as your starting point to create your own fabulous project!

The design team wasted no time jumping right in and adapting the sketch to work for them.

Let’s take a look at the fun and inspirational pages they’ve created!

“Daisy & Me” by Jackie Ashton

Here at DCC, we feel Jackie is the Queen of adapting something to make it work best for her! That is definitely true with the way she adapted this sketch by turning it on its side!

The layers of whimsical circles she created with the Mouse Circles Cutting die is giving off ALL the Disney vibes and we are loving it!

Her use of dimensional embellishments take her page to the next level. Literally!

“Lovely to Meet You!” by Natalie Strand

Such a dreamy page about her own little princess meeting a real Disney princess! Natalie has no shortage of adorable inspiration for all of her lovely creations!

She chose to focus on recreating the title and journaling placement from the sketch and used two larger photos with a horizontal orientation. We love how the white-on-white layered accents and airy silhouette-cut flowers add a touch of delicate innocence. So sweet!

The Pearl Luxe Mouse paper clip looks perfect tucked behind her journaling!

A little birdie told me that Natalie just loves to use the little Mouse Head Facets (see the baby blue one near the upper corner of her photo?) for a touch of subtle sparkle without distracting from the story she is sharing in her photos.

We think she did a beautiful job doing just that!

“Pocahontas” by Vicki Von Richter

What an absolutely stunning page Vicki has created! Her intricately-cut paper-pieced bow and title are simply gorgeous and the bold animal print in he background is just the right amount to avoid overwhelming the other elements she’s chosen to use.

Such fantastic detail on her layered title piece!

“Life is the Bubbles!” by Heather Ribble

Due to her excellent use of tone-on-tone patterned paper and perfectly coordinated cardstocks, Heather’s page is a quite the stand out! We love how she flipped the page to use the “bubbles” on the right side of her photo instead of the left.

And speaking of bubbles, check out those gorgeous rhinestone circles Heather used as sparkly “bubbles” along with the light green small padded applique.

“The 3 Caballeros” by Emily Adams

From under the sea, we are heading south of the border with Emily’s festive page featuring topiaries from EPCOT’s Flower & Garden Festival! We love Emily’s eye-catching style!

Instead of tags peeking out from the top of her photo, Emily used a fantastic mouse-shaped globe die, festive flowers and a vibrant green banner.

Guitar washi and a lemon-yellow sparkly facet are perfect for adding more pops of color and texture near her vibrant title! ¡Fantástico!

“Fireworks & Friends” by Michelle Sinclair

Another fabulous Design Team Member known for her fearless use of patterns and colors, Michelle has created a page that is a treat for the eyes! What a better way to showcase the new nighttime fireworks at EPCOT than to create a page just bursting with a festival of color!

We love the way she also added an element of stars amidst her cascading mouse head shapes. How many different types of stars can you spot?

Now it’s your turn to use the sketch to create something truly magical and “Disney-inspired.”

From all of us here at DCC, have a magical day!
