Its the fourth week of April and that means our fourth monthly challenge- the Cut File Challenge!

Our very own Vicki Von Richter created this SUPER cute cut file for us here at DCC and I just know you’re going to love as much as we do!

I just got back from Walt Disney World with my family, and this cut file could NOT have come at a better time! I took LOTS of photos of yummy Disney treats, so I will definitely be needing this cut file in the very near future! Thanks Vicki!

Since Vicki was so kind as to create this cut file for us here at DCC, let’s take a look at how she chose to use the design on her own page:

“I Am Here For The Snacks” by Vicki Von Richter:

Just look at those cupcakes…and donut…..and Mickey Bar! Are you drooling yet? We also love how Vicki colored her cut file image!

Did you know you can use the cut files to cut more than just paper?

“Snacks T-Shirt” by Natalie Strand:

Natalie used the image to make the most adorable t-shirt with gold iron on vinyl!

She also used metal cutting dies from Scraps & Ink Crafts to cut additional vinyl to adorn the front of the t-shirt.

“Mickey Barrettes” by Natalie Strand:

Natalie created super fun custom hair accessories by using brightly colored padded appliques, also from Scraps & Ink Crafts, attached to hair barrettes. So adorable! Whether you’ve got long hair or short hair, young or old, Mickey barrettes are always a good idea! Someone looks like they’re ready for a day at the park!

“Here for the Snacks” by Emily Adams:

One of the hardest parts about spending a day at a Disney park is choosing which treats to have! My solution? Try them all!

We love Emily’s colorful selection of treats from Disney’s Animal Kingdom park, but we especially love how she used colorful patterned paper with the cut file. The addition of the black letters for the title make the whole page vibrant and fun!

“Big Top Treats” by Lacey Robin:

I don’t know about you, but I am suddenly craving vanilla ice-cream with rainbow sprinkles!

Close-Ups:

We love how Lacey created a wavy banner for her title “Big Top Treats” with the puffy sticker letters and placed it directly on top of the cut file image. It is the perfect size for layering while still being able to read the words in the cut file image below it.

Now it’s your turn to play along for your chance to win authentic Disney merchandise:

Use this Cut File to create something truly magical and “Disney-inspired.” Participants will have until the end of the month to complete the challenge and upload it to the gallery and forum to receive one entry into the monthly drawing.

As always, even though we are a “tad” partial to scrapbooking, we also love to see a variety of craft projects, so sky’s the limit on what you can create for this challenge!

For more detailed instructions on how to participate visit the FORUM.

Deadline to enter is Friday, April 29, 11:59 PM (MDT).

Good luck and have a magical day!
